Bikemag: KalandKör400 - Gravel tour around Balaton

"For most people, the Balaton loop means cycling on the bike path around Balaton, which does not offer too much excitement or challenge for regular cyclists (readers of Bikemag), we could even say it is boring for them. That is why KalandKör400 has now been created within the BalatonBike365 project: it also goes around our country's largest lake, but compared to the bike path it runs farther from the shore on varied, at times challenging, exciting terrain that is optimal for gravel riders, covering nearly 400 km. Importantly, the entire route is signposted and can be followed without difficulty even without navigation. Even before the official announcement, last autumn we were invited to the tour's press presentation, where we rode most of the route in 3 days."
