Telex.hu on the "souped-up Balaton cycling loop"
"The roughly 200-kilometer loop around Lake Balaton has long been on many people's bucket lists, whether done in one go or spread over several days. A clear advantage of this route is that in summer heat you can pause for a swim anytime, but most of it is not especially exciting from a cyclist's perspective. (...) The roughly 400-kilometer KalandKör tries to change that by linking together parts of the hiking routes around Balaton. They also encourage participation by letting riders record completed sections on a smartphone by scanning QR codes, so you can immediately feel like you are collecting stamps on the National Blue Trail." - writes Telex.hu
