Bike service stations refreshed around Lake Balaton
As part of the BalatonBike365 project, 29 bike service stations have been refurbished, so touring cyclists around Lake Balaton can once again count on them for minor repairs during the 2024 season.
We continuously try to maintain and replace the tools available at the service stations, but this summer a comprehensive refurbishment was carried out. The turquoise-green stations were repainted and also underwent an important upgrade. One critical point had been the pump used by most cyclists, which has now been replaced with a different type.
The stations, typically installed next to cycling rest areas, are now renewed and ready for riders touring on BalatonBike365 routes. In addition to the pump, a stand helps with repairs, and basic tools, wrenches, and tire levers are also available on them. For exact locations, more information is available by HERE.
